Sorry I've been slacking a lot when it comes to blogging. Just waiting for the little one to come. Of course I've had a lot of contractions where I thought it was time and it of course it wasn't at my last doctors appointment she said that I was 1 cm dilated and ready to go. She said it would be a good idea to start my maternity leave ASAP because I've been so uncomfortable and because of the stress at work. I let work know and also gave them documentation. Still no word back from them though. Everyone cross your fingers that they will keep my position open for me like any human being would do.

Some of Brent's friends had a shower for us up at Jake's Bar and Grille. Here is Brent and me with the million balloons and diaper cake they gave us.
Have you ever seen a diaper cake?? Brent's friend Brandy made one for us. What a sweetie!! It's the coolest thing ever. 100 diapers shaped like a cake with a bunch of other fun stuff attached.
Last Friday was my BFF Mary's B-day. Our plans were sorta last minute so Sonja and myself were the only ones able to make it but we took Mary out to dinner and then out for yummy cake..
This cake was so freakin good. Mary and I took it down with no problems.
Well that's pretty much all that's been going on. We are just waiting for the baby to come.. It feels like it has been forever. Our bags are packed and we are ready to meet our little man.. I will make sure to post all the details once "it's time".

So are you done with work then??? Did they hire a temp to fill in for you or get a long-term person? They better have a job for you to go back to!!
