Cookies With Santa

Every year NAPVI  (National Association for the parents of visually impaired children) hosts an event called Cookies with Santa. This is their 3rd annual event and our 3rd time. This is a great place for Jake to get to be with kids just like him and for us to talk with other parents. Jake also gets a chance to meet Santa without the long lines. They had Santa, reindeer rides, crafts, food and gifts for the kids. Jake was a little wild because he didn't get much sleep the night before. All he really wanted to do was run around and explore which is just fine. We had a hard time getting him to want to sit on Santa's lap but we did get a good family photo. It was a really nice time and great to see all the parents and kids. Here are a few pictures from the day. I didn't get many because I was busy running around after Jake. Check out his first Cookies with Santa here.

Jake's friend Emily. She is such an amazing little girl. She always makes us laugh.
Jake loved listening to the kids sing.

Looks like a good time. What else is new? I feel like we haven't talked in ages...
