Jacob meets Santa

Brent and I are members of NAPVI which stands for Minnesota National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments.

Mission of NAPVI

NAPVI is a national organization that enables parents to find information and resources for their children who are blind or visually impaired, including those with other disabilities. NAPVI provides leadership, support, and training to assist parents in helping children reach their potential.

NAPVI hosts gathers for the children to get together and be with other kids like them and for the parents to be able to talk. This past Saturday NAPVI hosted Cookies with Santa and Jake was able to meet Santa for the first time. They had a craft table, treats, gifts and coco. We had a great time and got to meet so many other children with visual impairments just like Jake. There were so many children Jake's age. It's nice to know that Jake will have all these children to grow up with that he will be able to relate to. Here are some pictures from the day.
