TFT-What would you do???

TFT- What would you do??
Did anyone catch Primetime Crime on ABC last night? This story brought tears to my eyes. I’ve inserted the link to the story for you all to read it. Please read the whole story when you have time and leave me a comment. I would like to hear all of your thoughts on this.

My thoughts for Thursday day are what would you do? Not as the victim but as a passerby. I am shocked and sickened by how many people could have saved this young Wife and Mother. I know myself and I stick my nose in where I shouldn’t A LOT and it gets me in to trouble sometimes. If I felt something wasn't right I would have done everything to help this young woman. I can’t say that for the people that witnessed her terror and did nothing. I thought about this all night and even lost sleep over it. Not only did the 911 dispatcher drop the ball but so did so many witnesses.
What are your thoughts on this and what would you do??

What an awful story!!
I would call the police in a heartbeat....better safe than sorry. Those bystanders who did nothing will have this haunt them for the rest of their lives.....

I agree with Kristi too! I would rather be safe than sorry. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't call and something had happened.

That is a horrible story! Why those witnesses did not call the police is beyond me. There is no risk in calling the police, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I AM a 911 dispatcher. I know from experience that u can never have too many calls about the same thing. Even if it's just a dead animal in the road, u might feel like "oh someone else already called it in, I don't want to bother". if u have those feelings, u can sure bet that other people have those feelings.and that sometimes ends up in not ONE phone call coming in to 911. If u ever see anything that just doesn't sit right with u, call. Even the smallest things can help someone, like the victim in this case. True the 911 operators should have better communication with each other, but there should be no reason to blame the operators alone. Eyewitnesses save lives. Call.

how do you not call 911, I've called for much less than that.
We had a girl murdered who called 911 and the call got cut off, but the dispatcher didn't do anything.

Wow, how sad. That poor young woman could have been saved. It's pretty scary to think that if this were someone you knew, or yourself, could you really count on people to help. I would have called in a heartbeat.
