Red Lobster

No TFT today....
How many of you like Red Robster? Well I love it. When I was a small child it was the fancy place that my parents would go once in a blue moon and bring home hush puppy left overs. Now it's not as fancy and the quality is not like the good old days but I still like it. My Dad still wants to go there every year on his birthday.
Well last night I met one of my oldest and dearest friends for dinner at Red Lobster. Danielle and I have been friends since 9th grade where we met in science class. We've had a very strong connection ever since then. We have GREAT memories over the years. Her and I could sit in a room and just laugh for hours. She just gets me like only a few do. We've been to Red Lobster many times over the years and even though D gets so freaked out by crab she always get them. Then I get to watch her and the crab legs fight all through dinner. It's pretty entertaining.
She is one of the funniest people I know. I bet you couldn't find one person that doesn't like her.
Danielle is also a very strong woman. She spent 2 years in IRAQ fighting for our country. Everyday that she was gone I worried and now that she is home the time I get to spend with her is VERY important to me. Last night she told me that she might be moving 2 hours up north to go to school for law enforcement. Although I am sad that I will not be a short drive away from her I know that this is something she has always wanted to do and will be good at. Good Luck Dani. I will miss you. Can't wait to visit.

I wanted to share some pics of us over the years. WARNING!! Some are from about 10 years ago when I was a young pup.. UGH!!
Danielle and I have taken many trip through the years and there are a few from those times. I think we are about 21 in these pictures. I think I am wearing overalls in the second picture.. NERD!!

This is a picture a few years ago when Dani was on leave from IRAQ
This was from our trip to Garrison about 8-9 years ago.
This is from a another leave Dani had. She may get mad that I posted this one because she has a black eye. Sorry D.

I act like she is going back to IRAQ when she will only be 2 hours away.. What can I say she is just a great person to have in your corner. This post sounds like an ODE to Danielle. HAHA

Belly shot 20 weeks

Here is my 20 week shot. I can't believe I am sharing these I feel as big as a house.. UGH!

Jerks are everywhere

WARNING emotional pregnant lady has entered the building... HOLY MOLY!! Yesterday I went to my Mom's work to pick up boxes for our upcoming move and I pulled into the spot next to my Mom's because I was just running in for a minute.. It happened to be break time and all the factory workers were outside. Some JERK proceeds to yell at me for parking where I parked. Normally I would say something like 'mind your own business' or 'call the police' but today I just said 'yes I know I am just running in to grab something and because I am pregnant I just didn't want to park way far away'. This ass says to me 'I don't care you can't park there' I just gave him this look and he says 'oh look she is going to cry'. The minute I got inside and started to ball. I had to sit in my Mom's office for a little while to compose myself. Needless to say my Mom is this guys boss and she wasn't happy. I still have to call her to see how she handled the situation after I left but I hope he felt like an idiot and will think again before he runs his mouth.
I normally have no problem telling someone where to go but these pregnancy hormones are making me a BIG BABY.. WOW!!

I am exhausted today because I didn't sleep more than 2-3 hours last night. I had horrible pains in my tummy. On top of that Brent was snoring and Gizmo was sick and needed to be let out at least 100 times. Finally Brent went to sleep on the couch and he took care of Gizzy and I tried to get an hour in before my alarm went off. I am not sure what was wrong with the boy but B said that he was shaking, restless and wanted to go outside a lot. If he isn't feeling better by tomorrow off to the vet.

I find myself very emotional and irritated today. I forgot my umbrella so when I went to lunch I tried to run.. Oh my my my did that hurt. I feel like I am 8 months pregnant not 5..UGH
After work I am going to pick up a friend from work and drive her home and then I am going home to bed. I can't wait!

Sorry about all my complaining. I hope your Tuesday is going better than mine.

Weekend Update!

The weekend is almost over. I hope that everyone had a good one. Mine was good.
Friday I went over to Mary and Troy's right after to work to watch the kids for a few hours while Mary and Troy went to look at a bathroom that they are going to be working on. Sonja stopped over with her daughter Angelina to use the computer. Mary and Troy got home and we all hung out until about 10 when Sonja and Ang went home. I stayed and Mary and I put in the Sex and the City movie. I last till about 11:20 and then headed home.
Saturday we woke up, got ready and headed up to forest lake to meet my Brother Jay, SIL Lori and Nephew Tony at the Wolf Center. It was pretty cool to see all the animals. They had wolves, bears, raptors, coyotes and foxes. It was called Harvest Fest so I thought that there would be more of a fall festival but it wasn't like that. It was still fun to see all the animals.

Tony all dressed up in his fall gear
Brent and me checking out the wolves

This bear is about 15 years old and came to them from a zoo that no longer had room for him

This guys wing never healed correctly after an accident and can no longer fly

My Brother and Brent

Remember a few months ago when I posted the picture from the wood burning stand at the Carlton County fair up north. Well this guy was at this small little festival and here is my sign again. My name and birthday.. SO STRANGE

After the wolf center we stopped and got some lunch. After lunch Brent and I met his Aunt Donna to talk about our baby shower that she is throwing for Brent's side of the family. It was my first time meeting his Aunt. She is like a second Mom to him and I am glad she can be a part of this experience with us.

Now its sunday and I am making apple Crisp and watching lifetime movies. How domestic of me.

What did you do this weekend?

Happy Friday!!

Happy Friday everyone!! I feel almost 100% today. I had a long talk with my boss and he wants me to know that they want to work with me because they don't want to lose me. What a weight off my shoulders. I was so worried that I was going to lose my job. UGH

Any big plans for the weekend? Brent started working nights on Monday and it has been very lonely but tonight I am heading over to Mary's. I am going to watch the kids while her and her hubby go look a upcoming job that they will be doing. I am hoping to hang out with Mary and the fam for a little while before heading home and waiting for Brent to get home. Hopefully I can stay up. 11:30 isn't that late but it is for me these days.

Tomorrow B and I are meeting up with my Brother Jay, SIL Lori and Tony at the Wolf Center in Forest Lake for the Harvest howl. Any of you that live in MN should check it out if you don't have anything else going on. We have been looking forward to it since we heard about it at the state fair. They have wolves, raptors, and other live animals. Native American demonstrations, local artisans selling their wares, archery, kid’s games, pumpkin painting contests.

Sunday B and I going to start organizing all of our stuff and start packing for the big move. The worst thing on moving day is being unorganized and having stray stuff. I hate that. I would like it to be a smooth move.

Have a good weekend everyone. Tuesday I will post a new belly shot marking my 20th week.

Walking sucks

Once again I am in bed. It hurts to walk. The only thing that feels good is laying down or soaking in a bath tub.

I am stressed because this has been a very hard pregnancy and I am worried that my work is not going to be understanding forever.

Updates

Sorry it's Tuesday and I am just updating my blog about my weekend now but I haven't been feeling good. I went to the doctor today for my round ligament pains and she is starting me on physical therapy because the pains are so bad I am having a hard time walking, sitting, moving... I've been in bed for two days. UGH! B started his new job on Monday so I am alone evenings. It will be nice once the baby is born because we will not need daycare but being sick and alone isn't really fun right now. I have my Gizzy though..

Happy B-day to my sweet baby Gizmo he turned 3 on Monday. I felt bad that I didn't have a party for him this year.

So my weekend was filled with spending time with people that I love.

Friday, I headed over to Rachel and Caitlin's for a BBQ and to watch the debate. We had an awesome meal and I got to hang out with the Rachel and Caitlin's kids Eli and Bella. Rachel packed my car with lots of baby stuff and I headed home.. Thanks Rach and Cait for everything..

Saturday I met Lanee for lunch at the Olive Garden. We had a nice lunch and then headed over to Burlington to see if I could get some ideas for the baby room. I saw a lot of things that I liked but didn't buy anything.
After Burlington I headed over to Mary's. I wanted her to go with me to Babies R US to look for baby bedding. We ended up finding a set that I LOVED!! I bought it even though I didn't really have the money too. It's so cute. I will take a picture once I get into the new house and get the room done.
When we got back to Mary's B was there working on their trees. He took one tree down and trimmed another. I felt bad for asking him to come over and do that since he had been doing side tree work all weekend. i told him that we could do it a different day but he had all his saws so he just wanted to get it out of the way.

Saturday night B and I had a big dinner date at Wendy's. We are saving every penny for the big move in a few weeks and money is a little tight. After dinner we just went home and relaxed.

Sunday I woke up and headed to church the topic was Money and I really didn't feel like thinking about money. After church I got some lunch and headed home. B went to watch some football and I took a nap.
B came home and made me dinner and watched Desperate Housewives with me. He is so sweet. He treats me like a princess and will do anything for me and I am not the easiest person to deal with especially when I am pregnant.

That was my exciting weekend. I am sure that once the baby is born it will be a little more interesting.. Stayed tuned.

TFT-Food

Since moving into my second trimester eating has become so much more enjoyable. I've talked about food in the past but my love for food has tripled since becoming pregnant. The first 3 months I was so sick and hated most foods but now that I am feeling better I have found my appetite again(boy how I've missed you). One good thing about my cravings is that usually I crave healthy things like fresh salads and fruit. I don't crave fast food and still feel guilty if I eat it. Most of my cravings come from a smell. Yesterday a guy at my work had cucumbers and now I am craving them so bad I won't stop thinking about then until I get them.

Here is a list of my top favs right now, it will change next week.

Fresh green peppers(I could eat a whole one by myself)
Fresh green beans
Olives olives olives (mostly black but I love the green ones too)
Chow mein with LOTS of celery (homemade)
Popsicles
Salads
Soup
Stuffing
Pickles (sweet and dill)

Tony loves sweet potatoes

What are some of your favorite foods or meals??

Tony's Baptism

Sunday was Tony's Baptism. It was a great day with the family. Tony is the best baby.

Lori and Tony. All Tony needed through the ceremony to keep him happy was Mom's hand.

My Brother and Tony

Not sure why this picture turned out blurry. I can't wait to get my new camera.

My Niece Jess and Step-Sis Syd with Tony

Since it looks like I am having a boy Tony will have a little boy cousin to grow up with. They will be a little over a year apart. I can't wait to see what they think of each other.

Gopher Game

I work for a pretty large trucking company and they move some of our MN sports teams like the Twins, Wild and the Gophers. My work was nice enough to give us all free tickets to the Gopher game on Saturday. I invited my Brother, Tony and Lori. Lori had to get ready for Tony's baptism the next day and couldn't make it. Brent had to work and couldn't make it either so it was just My Brother Jay, Tony and me. It was a nice bonding day with my Bro and nephew. We all had a great time and Tony was amazing as usual. No fussing or crying. He was even on the jumbo tron.

We had the BEST seats!! Front row. The band was awesome. They did the thriller dance. VERY COOL!!

This just shows you how good our seats were. Goldie came over to shake Tony's hand

Jay and Tony

This is how Tony sat for most of the game. He loved all the excitement.

We had on matching sweatshirts.

The cheerleaders loved Tony. They came over to say hi to him. I wasn't quick enough with my camera though.

All of us outside the game.

Tony was soooooo good.. We stayed for the entire game. It was a great day!!
