Yummy Steak Marinade

Tonight I made grilled venison steak, grilled onions & potatoes and green bean casserole. I know that a lot of people are iffy about venison but our family loves it. I have a huge issue with where my meat comes from. I try to buy meat that is organically fed and humanly processed. With venison I know where it came from and how it was processed because B caught and processed the dear. Anyway I made a really yummy marinade tonight that I wanted to share. You can use any meat. It doesn't have to be venison.

Marinade

1/2 cup lower sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup worcestershire
2 tablespoons of ketchup
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of pepper
Fresh onion chopped up

I marinaded the steaks for about 2-3 hours

For the potatoes I just cut up 4 baking potatoes and a half of a purple onion. I added salt and pepper to them and a couple tablespoons of butter. I wrapped them in tin foil to make two square cooking pouches. Cook them on the grill over indirect heat for 30 minutes. Spray the tin foil with pam to prevent sticking.

For the green bean casserole. I just used the easy recipe from the back of the french fried onion canister. Super easy and it only takes 30 minutes.

Dinner turned out amazing!
