What's Up Weekend?-March 24th 2017

I'm joining Charlotte, from My Pixie Blog, Christina from The Brave Wanderer. and Lindsey from The Flynnigans for their revamped Friday Link-Up.
I love the new title that they came up with. What's Up-Weekend? I have a little story to share about Jake and the phrase What's up? Mr. J and I would always say "What's up?" to Jake and he would always reply with good because he didn't know how to answer. Mr.J taught him a new response.  Now when you ask Jake what's up? He replies with, "Just chillin". It's very cute!

10 things that made me happy this week

1. Getting some packing done but I have to admit I've been slacking. I failed my 5 day goal challenge. Hey, at least I'm honest.

2. Watching videos of fainting goats. I'm telling you if you want to a good laugh click here. I want goats. I will get one or two.

3. The Peaceful Posse- I love this new group that was formed by Charlotte, Christina and Lindsey(links above). Not only has this group helped me get back into blogging but I have met a log of amazing supportive women.

4. Cheese

5. I found this picture and it made me smile. I can't believe he was ever this small.

6. Driving my car again. It was in the shop for a long time. 650.00 dollars later and it drives like new. It's 12 years old and I love it.

7. Mr. J has been driving to my house every single night for the past couple weeks after gets off work.  That is 62.8 miles one way. Mr J has to be to work every morning at 6:30 (actually 6 because he is the type that needs to be there before anyone else) so he is up very early. Some nights he doesn't get to my house until 7 or 8 pm. He does this because he loves us and we love him for it. Only 5 more weeks and we will living together.

8. My hilarious friend Mama Baba. She is my awkward friend that never fails to make me laugh with her shenanigans. She makes videos of herself all the time and each one leaves me scratching my head.

9. The forecast for next week is sunny and 55. Hello SPRING!!

10. Breakfast for dinner. Yummy!

Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorite things ever! And I love fainting goats, I can't handle the cuteness! I would live on cheese forever if I could!

Mmm...I do love breakfast for dinner. Yay for some nicer weather too! I think it's supposed to be relatively nice where I live this weekend, though it says rain on Sunday.

I am so happy to hear that our group has helped you get your blogging mojo back! Know what? Me, too! I had taken a step back from blogging for a few weeks because life was super busy. I was even at a point where I considered quitting it completely!
I am so happy I didn't and I am super happy about our group and all the amazing connections I have been able to make ever since!
Have a wonderful weekend!

You need to share that video of your friend :) Reminds me a bit of Jenny Lawson (have you ever read her books? NO JOKE--like, pee your pants funny). I have a friend like this and I swear, hanging out with her is the best therapy in the world because we can laugh for hours at the dumbest stuff :)

OMG, that picture!!! SO SWEET! Just want to pinch the cheeks!

SO excited to have you link up AND as a member of our group <3 Seriously it makes me so happy to see people participating in linkys and engage with each other and interact. Hope you have a great weekend, momma! (PS: that is a GOOD MAN you have there!) XOXO

Since we are being honest and all, sometimes when we are lying in bed, the Mr and I will watch fainting goats until we are crying from laughing so hard. 55 is spring? In Texas we call that winter. LOL. I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

As you guys head into spring, we've started autumn but it's been a very wet start! Cheese is good at any time and yes, it definitely something that makes me happy! :D

We just bought a new frying pan and I swear it has changed our life. I want to fry all the eggs and cook all the pancakes for all the meals! It's the best comfort food! Now I'm terrified of cooking bacon because I always burn myself or the bacon. I know, it's really sad since I'm 36 and haven't mastered it yet. But I found out you can cook it in the oven - also life changing.
And how adorable is that picture! Scrumptious!!!

Hey girl!
I hope you were able to have a nice weekend and get some much needed packing done. Won't it be so nice once you're all together and none of this back and forth business?
Aren't goats just the greatest course of enjoyment? Fainting goats are so cool, I remember seeing them for the first time a few years back and I just couldn't stop watching video after video after video. I've looked after a trio of goats before for a client and it was one of the most enjoyable experience. Their favorite treats were popcorn and salted crackers. If you brought them some, they'd be all over you trying to get to you first. LOLOL!

Have a great week hun. :)
