Girls Day- April 1st, 2017- Stillwater, MN

Saturday I attended a woodworking class with some of the ladies in my family. My Sister-in-Law Lori planned this after we recently had a HUGE loss to our family. On February 19th my Auntie Vicki lost her husband of 47 years in an instant. This loss hit us all very hard but no one harder than his wife, children and grandchildren. As a very LARGE close family, we rally around those we love in good times and in bad. This day will go down in my books as one of the greatest days with the strong ladies in my family.

Me and my Lovely Auntie Vicki.

This was what I made.

After our class we walked over to The Freight House for lunch and drinks. Stillwater, Mn is by far one of my favorite cities in Minnesota to visit

One waiter handled the entire group and I will say that he was pretty good. Food was awesome and the company was even better.

I allowed myself to have one drink that was not on my low carb WOE(way of eating) Yum!

Holy COBB SALAD!! YUMMY!!

Oh my gosh, if my salads could look like THAT cobb salad, I'd eat salad every day!

So very sorry for your loss, but wow it makes my heart happy to see all you ladies getting together! Such a lucky family you are to have each other. But did you say one waiter for the whole group! That is impressive!

Oh that sounds like such a great gathering! I am sorry that it had been prompted by a loss, but sometimes those are the times we remember to spend time with people that are important to us!

What a wonderful day to share. I love woodworking. Took it in Junior High instead of Home Ec. You have a great family.

I love this so much--but especially that you have such a big, close-knit family that rallies together in the hard times especially. That must have been so meaningful to your aunt especially <3

Beautiful photos, and I love that you took a woodworking class! Your creation is so pretty! Also HOLY COBB SALAD! Yes, please.

XOXO
